TEAM CONTESTS

Some of the best ideas and memories come from each individual team. We encourage each team to get creative and get involved with each project. We also encourage you to send us your own ideas via email.

TEAM ARTWORK

We encourage each team to win the spirit award and create their own team logo, artwork, T-shirts, hats, and team stickers.



Some teams pick a creative theme equipped with costumes and crazy gags and novelties... Each year is always new as Gumball Rally teams try out some new ideas to get the attention of our photographers.

GUMBALL POT LUCK

Who likes free stuff ? 


Each team should create or get 100 "cool things" to give to the rest of the rally teams and after the start of the rally you would get 100 different "cool things" in return. Teams, you can buy something cool you saw at a store, or contact one of your sponsors to help get creative. The team with the coolest items will win an extra prize.



The 100 items can range from $.25 cents to $25 dollars, pens to T-shirts and more (get creative) ... Each team should gather the 100 items before the main event. 48 hours before the event starts we will gather all the items and distribute each one into our Hagerty gift bags, and we will distribute the bags when we start the main event.

MUSIC PLAYLIST

Who likes to jam out during a good road trip? We want each team to pick their 12 favorite songs to enjoy while driving (PICK ANY SONGS) and create 50 to 100 copies of their "team playlist" for other teams and people you meet during the weekend.



These playlists should not be released before the main event, so try to surprise everyone! The coolest thing about this new contest is it will give you a clue into what each team likes to listen to, as well as re-discover some songs you have not heard in awhile. Favorite playlist wins an extra prize and trophy.

THE GUMBALL PLAYBOOK

The "Gumball Playbook" will be a private page for Gumball Rally teams only and the playbook will consist of different driving techniques such as "THE SWITCH-OVER" "WEAVING THE SWEATER" and "THE INDIAN RUN" (to name a few)

We will also have layouts, tips and tricks to capture the perfect camera angle and cool picture ideas.
